The School of Chemistry and Biosciences is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented individual to join the School to teach and research in the exciting area of Bioinformatics for 24 months. You will mainly teach on the postgraduate taught programme in Bioinformatics, due to upsurge in demand and contribute to the accredited BSc Biomedical Science and BSc Healthcare Science programmes.The successful candidate will have some experience of teaching and facilitating learning in the field of bioinformatics and of supervising research projects at undergraduate or postgraduate level. You will hold a PhD in a relevant area, such as bioinformatics, computational biology, genomicsor a related subject and have evidence of recent high quality research publications in refereed journals and/or book chapters and conference papers.
