Directorate
The University of Bradford’s mission is to drive sustainable social and economic development, through outstanding teaching, translational research, creative enterprise and transformative innovation. We play an important role in our community, nationally and internationally in creating opportunity and enhancing prosperity. We are proud to be working at the heart of the UK’s most entrepreneurial city.
In 2024 we launched the Bradford-Renduchintala Enterprise Ecosystem (BREE), a £2.6m programme which aims to stimulate and support entrepreneurs to develop new business and social enterprises in our University and city. Through this programme, students, researchers, staff, graduates and community members are inspired to set up enterprises, receive training and mentoring, have access to seed and growth funding, and develop their new enterprises within an open, inclusive entrepreneurial environment that enables them to succeed.
What you will be doing:
- You will facilitate the delivery of BREE’s services for entrepreneurs and business owners including networking and professional education events, brokerage services, business support and incubator / venture studio space.
- You will maintain a database of clients and monitor a range of metrics of BREE’s performance and impact.
- You will service BREE meetings and provide diary support to the BREE team.
Qualifications/ experience:
You will have a level 2 qualification or equivalent experience and ideally a marketing related qualification.
You will need strong communication, administrative, organisational and IT skills and experience, ideally with experience as an event organiser.
In return we offer:
- 25 days holiday and 13 statutory and customary days (taken at Easter and Christmas).
- Family-friendly policies
- Great campus facilities
- Generous benefit schemes, including car leasing, cycle to work, holiday purchase, home & technology scheme and shopping discounts
