Faculty
The School of Nursing, Public Health and Healthcare Leadership continues to have ambitious vision for growth, innovative programme development and enhancing student experience. Within our nursing programmes, the school is committed to providing excellent teaching, learning and assessment experiences, which enable our nursing and nursing associate students to feel confident and competent to fulfil their registered nurse/ registered nursing associate roles. This role is central to meeting this objective. This roles offers the opportunity to begin your academic career and contribute to educating Bradford’s future nursing staff.
What you will be doing:
- Work with a programme team to develop and deliver excellent practical workshops and classroom lectures/ seminars.
- Work with a programme team to support learners/ students to complete their assessments, in university and in clinical placement.
- Work with a range of different people, within university, academic, professional teams and with employers to deliver aspects of the curriculum, support student success.
- Promote recruitment to the school’s programmes through relevant outreach and engagement activities in local communities/with employers and/ or at University events.
Qualifications/ experience:
- Be an NMC registrant at either Nursing Associate or Registered nurse level.
- Hold a relevant academic qualification consistent with NMC registration level i.e., Foundation degree /Degree.
- Experience of apprenticeship regulations is desirable.
- Understand the NMC standards of supervision and assessment (2023) applied to clinical practice.
- Be a confident communicator, using a range of technology and media.
- Be passionate about the nursing profession.
