Faculty

The School of Social Sciences has a long-established track record in teaching and research relating to various academic disciplines including sociology, criminology, psychology, social work as well as peace and development studies. The Department of Sociology and Criminology, within the School of Social Sciences at the University of Bradford, recruits strongly for the University and contributes to its REF submission.

What you will be doing:

  • Undertake research informed teaching and teaching related activities, to be agreed with the Head of Department. 
  • Plan, deliver and assess innovative, engaging and challenging teaching activities which provide a distinctive and exceptional student experience.
  • Ensure teaching is research-led with subject content underpinned by relevant specialist research.

Qualifications/ experience:

  • Honours degree (or equivalent in a relevant subject area) OR honours degree in an unrelated subject with a higher degree in an appropriate area.
