Position Overview

We are seeking a talented strategic People Business Partner to join our team. In this role, you will partner with senior stakeholders in a dedicated business area or faculty and contribute to the successful delivery of key People projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Faculty / Directorate Partnership: You will collaborate closely with the designated faculty / directorate leadership team to understand their unique needs, challenges, and objectives. Supported by a People Advisor, you will be the go-to People expert for the faculty, providing strategic guidance on key people matters including people plans, workforce planning, and any change initiatives.

People Projects: You will drive People projects with a focus on continuous improvement and employee engagement. 

Data-Driven Decision Making: You will utilise People metrics and data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and present actionable insights to the faculty leadership team.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Proven experience as a People Business Partner or in a similar role, preferably in an educational institution or other relevant industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of People policies, procedures, employment laws, and best practices.
  • Experience in leading People projects.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • A commitment to upholding and promoting equity, diversity and inclusion in all practice.
